1992 corsica 3.1 has miss when throttling.

Ok, i recently purchased a 1992 corsica with a 3.1 in it, and it ran fine. Now, all of a sudden, when throttling it has a miss. Idle's and revs fine, just does it while in drive. Can any one help me?

Re: 1992 corsica 3.1 has miss when throttling.

most likely it's either a weak fuel pump or your torque converter locking up. my wife use to have a chevy lumina and it idled and reved fine but every once in a while when she put it in drive it would stall. when it stalled it would start right back up but stall imediately after putting it in drive. that one was the fuel pump but it may be the torque converter too.
