Damaged Exhaust Pipe

New to this forum so I hope I am asking this question in the right place.
Recently ran over some unavoidable road debris that noticebly dented a portion of my exhaust system. It didn't hit the cat or the muffler but just the piping in between the two. Just wondering if this dent will effect the performance by restricting the flow ??

Re: Damaged Exhaust Pipe

It depends on the degree to which the pipe was damaged, but if you take it to a muffler shop they should be able to look at it and tell you if it needs to be fixed and how much it'll cost, if it's a decent shop this estimate should be free and I'd expect the repair to be about $50.
