left headlight

2003 Cav LS Sport Coup I noticed the left headlight was very dim. I installed a new bulb and it is still dim. all other lights work normally with the exception of a right side marker light is burned out. All of the connections are clean (no corrosion). Can anyone help? Thanks in advance.

Re: left headlight

Did you check your fuse box? a blown HDL fuse will cause them to light up, but driver side be dim. Normally thats the one to go.

Re: left headlight

all fuses are ok I've heard that a bad ground would cause this, but it looks like the headlight harness shares the same ground for both left and right. So I believe the bad ground theory to be wrong unless I'm wrong and their are two seperate grounds for the headlights. I'm at a complete loss here the car has only 12,000 miles on it and no warranty. I don't want to start tearing apart the harness to find a short If I don't have to. Please anymore ideas!
