Got to drive my friend's 95 Formula LT1. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN. I loved it. Although, I must say the 4th gen makes my 3rd gen feel as roomy as an old buick. I also rode in the backseat, NO legroom period. Good place for children or midgets. That engine has some serious balls, but it does NOT look fun to work on. The worst part is, he got it cheaper than i got my car, thanks to an auto auction. It does have a salvage title however, but the damage was minimal, and he just replaced the front driver's side fender and repainted the door, which he did for fairly cheap. It's white w/t-tops and tinted windows and looks sharp at night.

1967 Firebird 400 V8 Convertible. Primer Grey with green bondo spots. Cam, Headers, Dual Exhaust w/glasspacks, larger valves, 4bbl carb. TH400 w/ Shift Kit. My dad's ride, but will be mine someday.
Mileage unknown, doesn't have original speedo, switched the 120 for a 160.

Re: Dayum

gotta love good cheap cars... I almost bought a Jaguar that came from an auction once.. It was the same deal and just had minimal damage but had a salvaged title because it was stolen...

Re: Dayum

He's got a Flowmaster 80 series muffler coming tomorrow via UPS. Anybody know how it will sound with everything else stock?

Re: Dayum

No one wants to say good things performance wise about flowmaster but if I remember right they sound good. I don't have anything to back that up... just going on what I remembered others saying. Magnaflow seems like the newest choice for performance and sound... and if you have the money Borla or GMMG

Re: Dayum

Yeah, he thinks he's going to get crazy HP numbers just by adding this. He's the type that believes every add he sees. He's the same friend that i mentioned in an earlier thread who thinks the LT1 is in every way better than the LS1.
