i was out the last couple of days in the snow, and my drivers side window switches got wet and not the pass side window will not go down, but will go up with the switch and the left rear will go down but not up with the switch from the drivers door. they do still work fine from the switches on each of the other doors. I took it out and noticed it was all one big switch. anyone had any experience taking these things apart? also does anyone know what years would be the same...o1 passport 4wd lx. would a rodeo be the same on these switches?

Rodeo would be the same.

SWITCH; POWER WINDOW 8-97237-189-2 08-2000 and later

Dont know the difference with the earlier 2nd gen switches but they have different part numbers.

I just saw a couple on ebay and they said 98-01 passport and rodeo. so i guess that would be the only years that would fit. and then others that said 95-97

They can be spendy.
I had to replace mine in drivers door.
I think dealer new was $250 +
I think I found the last used one for $45.
At least it's real easy to pop out and replace. Under a minute.
