Removing plastic from gauges-How??

01 S-10 Full gauges. I'm installing a new deck and I want to take the peice of plastic off that covers the gauges so I clean the gauges up. I use to drive on gravel roads and dust seeped in and got them all dusty. I tried prying it off but it cracks to easily. Is there some way I can get it off without breaking it? Thanks!

The bezel is usually screwed onto the instrument cluster around the perimeter. The cluster needs to be removed from the vehicle to accomplish this.
