93 corsica 2.2 stumbles

I changed the plugs, wires, fuel pump, filter, battery, and cables with no luck. The car acts like it is starving for fuel when it dies and has no codes stored. I have a used ign module that I will be trying this afternoon to hopefully fix this and get it out of my life. Any other suggestions would be appreciated. Anyone know if these PCM's have a history of problems?

Re: 93 corsica 2.2 stumbles

Does the car run OK for a while first before it stalls? Does it start again right away or have to wait a while? the igniton module can cause this when it is failing when engine temp gets warmed up. crank sensor too. yes, PCM's do go bad on them due to water leaks etc. Our 91 had that happen and seen others here have that also. but a bad module won't set codes either.

I can’t remember if the 93 has coil packs but if it does you might want to check them for cracks. You can also spray them down with water and look for arcing. A bad coil pack can cause the car to run poorly or not at all.
