Question 2002 Grand Prix Questions

I have an 02 GP GT 40th anniversary edition. I am having trouble with little or no acceleration when taking off from a stop. As I get up to approx 3000 RPMS its like it kicks in. Until then it is gutless. I am clueless on where to begin. It comes and goes, warm or cold outside. Any help would be great thanks!!!!

I should also add that in June I had a new Cataletic Converter put in on the dealership and still have the same probs as before!!!

Re: 2002 Grand Prix Questions

Since you replaced the converter, try unplugging the Mass Air Flow sensor and see if acceleration improves. If it does, the MAF is bad. If that doesn't help, check the TPS (throttle position sensor) with an ohm meter for flat spots.
