best rear end?

what would be the best bang for the buck for a 93 firebird? i'm looking to upgrade the rear end, prefer a LSD, but its not really a "must have".

Re: best rear end?

There's no easy way to tune the computer to compensate for new gears on a 3.4, so I always suggest sticking with the stock ratio. Your best bet would be to either find a 93-97 LT1 rearend and swap the whole thing out so you can also get disc brakes to replace the drums. Or if you want to keep it simple, you can just look around on ebay for a Torsen differential and just swap that out with your open differential to rid yourself of that one-wheel-peel
