Driver's side actuator is probably stripped- or arm is off-- are you out of warranty?-- should be 5yrs or so, on an '07

Re: 2007 Tahoe Dual A/C problem

I am not sure about the warranty. Just purchased this used 2007 with 45k miles on it. How difficult is the replacement/repair of the actuator arm?

Thanks for the help.

Always check for low R-134a first.
Also if anything is bad it should be setting a code in the AC/heater body computer.
Sometimes after a battery disconnect or change they need recalbrated.
Check for codes.
If any codes post back codes.

thank you. Is there a way to do the re-calibration without going to a mechanic

Re: 2007 Tahoe Dual A/C problem

I do not have info for the 07 but on older ones it is turn off ign and remove raido fuse for 10-30 seconds and put it back and ign on and it should go threw the recalibrate mode and work OK.
Good luck
