:banghead: Hey, Im a female who likes to work on her own cars lol. My every day vehicle is a 1996 chevy tahoe 5.7. This morning I tried to start it. The motor cranks but wont turn over. Please help it has a new fuel pump that I put in the summer time, Ive even replaced the fuel pump relay and nothing! My children go to school far away and I have to get it started tonight! I have a simlar problem w/ my 1995 Tahoe. It won't start. It will fire if I hold the gas pedal down and turn the starter over for a while. I changed the distributer/roter button and the plugs. The plugs were black. It seems to get adequate gas out of the jets in the throttle body. Any suggestions...I'm about to to admit defeat and take the car to a shop...Thanks.
