Intellichoice BS?igor@af 02-23-2003, 11:54 AM Look at this page - PRIMEDIA's IntelliChoice rates the 350Z as 'poor'... http://www.intellichoice.com/reports/vehicleReport.cfm/section/ownership/vhcl_nmb/9962 IntelliChoice Value Rating Vehicle Class Sport 5-Year Ownership Cost $36,986 5-Year Cost, Similar Vehicles $28,740 Difference $8,246 IntelliChoice Value Rating Poor Let's compare it to Corvette Coupe (non-Z06) which is in the same class as the 350Z - SPORT. http://www.intellichoice.com/reports/vehicleReport.cfm/section/ownership/vhcl_nmb/10036 IntelliChoice Value Rating Vehicle Class Sport 5-Year Ownership Cost $39,744 5-Year Cost, Similar Vehicles $40,538 Difference $-794 IntelliChoice Value Rating Average IntelliChoice defines the 5 year cost of similar vehicles as - "This is the total expected cost for a vehicle in the same class as this one, and with the same purchase price. This figure is based on statistics derived from all vehicles in the class." Same class being SPORT, which is the same class that the Z is in.... In addition, they also say that the 350Z is Assembled in Smyrna, TN. http://www.intellichoice.com/reports/vehicleReport.cfm/section/specs/vhcl_nmb/9962 IDIOTS.... DemonZX 02-24-2003, 11:27 AM What a bunch of idiots! I don't think there is another word to describe it any better! It should be StupidAssaChoice!:flipa: :D Roark 02-24-2003, 11:43 AM Pulling resale value out of thin air for a vehicle that is new for this model year is ridiculous let alone forecasting 5yrs into the future. Every other publication I have read thought the Z was an excellent value including several consumer guides. I guess Intellichoice was an ironic name choice. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
