1998 k1500 axles
I have a 1998 k1500 with 3:73 axles. I want to swap to 4:10s. does anybody know of anyone who sells complete rear axles assemblies and front differential assemblies? A local shop told me he could get front and rear remanufactured for $1800. I could swap the ring and pinion for less. The rear wouldnt be bad. The front a different story. local repair shops dont even want to do it. Has any one done a front end? what kind of job is it? I would just as soon swap complete assemblies. thanks in advance.
