what kind of heads to put on a 454?
I've got a 1979 Chevy truck, honestly couldn't tell you the exact kind, but it's 2 wheel drive, and a short bed. I'm thinking C10 but on the side it said "Bonanza" or something.
Anyways, I'm looking to put a 454 in it and I am in the process of locating parts to rebuild. What type of heads would be the best to put on it, and when I take them to get machined, should I really do anything to them? I'm looking to build a beast with my dad. :P Neither of us know to much on the topic, but we need something to do. I live next to Lane Automotive, so high performance parts are pretty easy to come by. Any help on this would be appreciated!
