i have a 2000 explorer sport 4x4 after a 20 mile drive when everything is warmed up when you stop and go the transmission winds out the rpm before it shifts i had the transmission serviced and they found no codes and they took several road tests and said there was nothing wrong with the transmission.the truck was driven all week with no shifting problems only 3 miles to work. long drive sunday 40 miles before the first stop and go same problem transmisson winds out .there is only 67000 miles on the truck .any suggestions greatly appreciated Outcome of the transmition i took the explorer to a transmission specialist and he found three gaskets broken and fixed the vehicle for 240.00 i put 500 more miles on so far with no problems i guess im one of the ones to find an honest guy so happy i didnt haveto buy a new transmission
