R33 Gt-R in USA??

First of all this is my first post here so hello every one.
My question is this, how much would it cost me to get an R33 Gt-R in the USA(Including aprox. import costs)? I have found used ones in Australia for somewere around $10-15000 USD. I have, as of yet, been unable to find any import sites that import skylines and any importer I have talked to on the phone has been clueless. One had never even heard of a skyline, an unforgivable trespass in my opinion.
Any way, if any one can help me out with a rough figure it would be much appretiated. Also prices on the V-Spec would be nice (Like I can actualy afford one of those beasts )

Welcome to AF! You're among many Skyline lovers here.

Unfortunately, MotoRex seems to have the Skyline importation market cornered, at least for now. Take a peek at www.SkylineGTR.com for thei stock/price list.

Hmm, thats to bad, all the prices I've seen from them are WAY out of my price range. I don't know much about importing cars so this may be a silly question. Is there no way to privatly import a used one?

Technically, yes, but it's so insanely hard you'll just be better off paying the money.

Basically, you have to know the ins and outs of dealing with the DOT, US Customs, and the EPA, and all their forms and regs, all at once. If you screw up, the car gets impounded.
