15 " eagle alloys alum. rims faded

i have these set of wheels for my civic, there magnesium or aluminum, and over the years the paint is dull and not shiny anymore, ive used acid to clean them before, can i polish them to be like new ?

were they polished or painted?? if they were painted before, just repaint them and be done with it. if they were polished before, you can re polish them using metal polish, this is a very time consuming process though
