Seafoam gone wrong?

I did it slowly thru the brake Booster line. It sipped 40% of the bottle and sat 10-15 mins. As seen on the video, it dosn't sound so good. I wonder what happened. It is driving on the Cold climate spark plugs NGK *****5.
Any guesses?

The car drives fine after seafoam. But looking back at the video puzzles me.

Re: Seafoam gone wrong?

next time in the pcv hose would be better because it can backflow back into your brake booster then you will have problems

Re: Seafoam gone wrong?

And you say it's ok now? Wow! I'm surprised you didn't blow it up! Don't use Seafoam like that anymore.

Re: Seafoam gone wrong?

I use seafoam all the time on a fleet of equipment and never had a problem. but your not using it right.
one ounce per gal in the tank or what I do id add 2oz;s to the oil, start and let run untill warm up and then drain and replace oil and filter.
whomever came up with the idea to put it in the break booster vac. hose is nutz.

Re: Seafoam gone wrong?

I use seafoam, and follow the whole 1/3rd in the gas, 1/3rd in the oil and 1/3rd in the brake booster... have done it for years... and haven had one single problem.. in fact on my friends 240, 200+K miles... made a huge diff in performance
