Suspension Swaptegrunner 01-11-2008, 04:49 PM Hey everybody; I am a newbbie to the site. I own a 98 Cavalier and I want to make it resemble more like the Z24. I want to start off with the suspension. Is it senseable to try and swap out my suspension with the Z24's? Reason being, I may not have to buy new struts, springs shock absorbers etc.. Is it as easy as mabey just swaping the springs? Can anybody give me some insite to this? Thanks Classicrocjunkie 01-12-2008, 12:39 AM Your springs are the exact same as the Z24's. The suspension is the same across the j-body platform 95-05. So keep what you have, its not going to do anything different. ;) tegrunner 01-12-2008, 08:45 PM Then why does it appear that the Z's are lower then my C/S? Would it be because of the side skirts and different bumpers? ZenithZ24 01-12-2008, 11:06 PM That would probably be the reason. Z24 Bumpers look a lot nicer than the base overall. Classicrocjunkie 01-13-2008, 12:25 AM Front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts on them make em look lower. tegrunner 01-14-2008, 06:36 AM Ahh it seems that my are playing tricks on me. To me it looked like it was more of a suspension issue. Great, thanks everybody for your hep. Its said, new bumbers and skirts it is. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
