had a/c cold air problem. did the replace relay in ccrm box fix. it worked ,but idle seemed worse. installed new "iac". new platinum plugs(autolite).new ignition wires. idle has slightly eased,but still shaking to much. now gonna replace the motor mount on top on the passenger side. after that will consider the maf sensor,etc.

Check for a vacuum leak starting at the intake manifold. Replace the PCV valve and check elbow for cracks.

will idle adjust work?? i,ve been searching all around the internet about the escort rough idle. the most promising thing i found says to bend the tab or to slide a clip or to use a longer screw to raise the idle up about 100 rpm,s . anyone on auto forums try it yet?
