ignition module

Where is it located? On a 91' Escort GT, with the 1.8L. Pics would be nice maybe. Thanks.

Don't have any pics but the ignition module for the 1.8 is located under the igniton coil which is located near the engine compartment fuse block. It has the bigger wiring connector. Take the negative battery terminal loose before taking it off or working on it. It's a fairly delicate and expensive unit to replace.

Oh, I had already taken the coil off and didn't notice it, I guess. My car isn't with me, so I'll have to look later. Thanks though.
