McNugget + 1Jay! 02-12-2003, 09:20 PM When did McDs switch the 9pc to the 10pc? Do they still have the 4pc in the Happy Meals? When you order a 10pc, do they just take one 6pc and one 4pc and dump them into a new box? And then double that when you order a 20pc? Did they think that odd number was bad for business? Maybe they only like working in muliples of 2... 64 Chevy 02-12-2003, 09:28 PM Ever noticed that they are not called chicken nuggets anymore, just mcnuggets. Im sure you all can figure out why they left out the chicken part! hondacivic4drlx 02-12-2003, 10:30 PM burger is better. *slurps* chicken tenders:p Porsche 02-12-2003, 10:53 PM I never knew they switched to 10. KFC sells them in 4,7 and 10 I think they were all 1 off of Mcdonald's old numbers I remember. ci5ic 02-13-2003, 12:21 AM I got a 20 piece the other day, and it came in two 10 piece boxes. Toksin 02-13-2003, 12:32 AM Heep 02-13-2003, 12:34 AM McNuggets with sweet and sour sauce and breakfast hashbrowns...only McDonalds food I really enjoy eating :D Jimster 02-13-2003, 12:47 AM YUCK!!!!!! How anyone can stand eating McDonalds is beyond me- I especially hate the feeling after you have eaten the burger- I feel like I want to throw up. McNuggets are good though- and as long as I've known- we've always had 10 pack McNuggets:D Oz 02-13-2003, 03:14 AM Australian maccas is different again. You can get 3 only in happy meals, 6 pack, 9 pack or 21 pack. Hmm... speediva 02-13-2003, 10:34 AM Dude, McD's nuggets are nasty. I would eat Wendy's chicken nuggets over McD's any day. And even then Arby's chicken fingers over Wendy's. As for the switch, I don't know, but I do remember it being 9 before. Seeing as how I don't eat at McD's often I wouldn't know when they changed over... I-Tech 02-13-2003, 10:46 AM Originally posted by Toksin http://www.buythaishop.com/images/065f.jpg I second that. Those McNuggets are the worst products with chicken meat I have ever tasted. I-Tech says: Boycot McDonald's and travel to Rome to get real taste chicken :licker: YogsVR4 02-13-2003, 12:48 PM Thats an easy one. (based on the prices here) They had the 9 piece at $2.49 The 4 piece was .99 - do the math. You could get 8 pieces for 2 bucks so that one extra piece was 51 cents. So they put in one more piece to match the ~ 25 cents a nugget price you get from the 4 piece without dropping the price of the (what was nine piece) KatWoman 02-13-2003, 12:49 PM Wendy's nuggets own! You can get 10 for $2 whereas you pay more at other places....but they use real chicken :D vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
