funky funky funky smell

sometimes when i stop my car it fuckin stanks like rotten eggs and some other nasty's and i have no idea what it is my step-dad says its my cad convertor from reving too high so once i changed gears at low revs and it still did it

happens like 1 out of 3 times i stop my car

Well it might be your cat converter, but try a different brand of gas for a few weeks. If that doesn't help get a tune-up and maybe a computer scan to see if there are any sensors out of range, causing a rich mixture. Good luck.

i hope that smells not from my cad b/c once my imitions test is over im ripping that fucker out i want more hp!! but i can't put up with that smell *shudders at thought*

ok well how much hp does a performance cad give you my friend was like yah i got one and it gave me 50 i was like u retard you onl;y get like 20 when u take it off i think it gives u 10 mabye

You'd be lucky to gain more than 1 or 2 HP. Not worth the time or the smell. I don't know about you but i don't like my cars to smell like somone has the shits.

If your heater box in the dash goes out it can make the car smell like some raunchy shit. See if there is any water on your floor.

Yep, It's the cat. Failed catalytic converters can let out a stink like rotten eggs. It's the only rotten egg smell I've know a car to let out.

Removing the cat will not cause rotten egg smell. It's the failed cat that's doing the stinking.

It's illegal to remove of course.

You are allowed to replace a failed unit.

it is not legal at all, but...............there are ways to get around that, I have a cat on my car but it does nothing. I pounded out the inside. So looks really can be deciving :silly2:
