if i can take a prelude and i have a GT, then a GTS with a hooked up engine definatly can. it was a 1998 Prelude and i raced him it was a acknowledged race by the other driver and i have 3 witnesses that can prove it. so ya, celica's can take preludes.

ive beat a stock eclipse gs, 2 broncos, countless ford sedans, beat the hell out of a civic, tied a suped up crx. i lost to an impala and a camaro because i sputtered off the line both times (both due to lack of experience with a manual transmission) i also raced my friend's 1971 mgb gt but that was an unfair race his transmission was near shot. (yes i won)

A mini can beat a Corvette w/the right tuning

It all depends on who you are racing, more that what you are racing. I actually beat a Mustang Cobra R at the drag strip. The guy couldn't drive at all.

lol unless it was a v6 "cobra r" there is no way on gods green earth that you could beat a cobra, i don't care what you say. even if he misshifted twice. so i'm calling your bullshit. not even if you were turbocharged.

Call bull shit, I don't really care. My friend was there and video taped it. Trust me, the guy couldn't drive AT ALL. I popped off a 14.6 @ 95ish, and he ran like a 15.2 somewhere between 103 and 105 mph. Trust me, it was a Cobra R. I went and looked at it after we raced. Oh, on a side note I just noticed that the thread topic was 2002 GT-S. I have a 2000 GT-S.

probibly, like i said, he could have been a shitty ass driver, but all i know is i did take'm and i have 3 witnesses, so i know it had to happen. it is possibly though, my friend with a integra RS took a prelude and i've beat'n his car once before. you can say its not possible and that it didnt happen all you want, but that wont change that it did happen

gt-s should walk on the lude. 180hp/156trq in a car that weighs only 2500lbs (lil more), compared to the prelude sh which only has 195/160 an weighs over 3k lbs. the preludes are around a 15.4 car (stock) compared to 15.2 for the gt-s. if the lude is stock vs a gt-s w/ mod's...not even close. gt-s can run mid 14's w/ only i/h/e.

my fault, the gt-s has 133 trq, i had been looking at a celica's dyno chart after some mod's. simply mistake. the 1/4 times are not off however. w/ only i/e, my frien runs a 14.9. plz explain how a gt-s, which has more power, and more trq then a stock gsr runs 15.8 compared to 15.3.
