Here's the latest one all finished.
Overall the kit is another classic from Tamiya....easy to build. So if you are new to modelling this would be a great kit to start with.
Painted in Chrome Yellow TS-47
You can read about the building of it here (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?s=&threadid=82858) for more info and tips about the kit.
Hope you enjoy
Cheers

The car looks near perfection, but there is only one thing that makes it look not as good IMO. And it is-black door lines. I would look so much better without them :)

Another stunning model as usual Pman. but i agree about the panel lines, they are a bit too obvious. Sometimes on a light-coloured car you have to thin the paint a little, or mix in a bit of the body colour (yellow here), then it is more natural-looking.

Didn't you just start this like a week ago?!!
Any way i like the dark panel lines, to me on a light colored car it really brings them to life.
Good JOB!

Once again I'm amazed at your work! I wanted this kit so bad, but it was $30 USD. Anyways, know what's next?

definitley the panel lines make it look more realistic. can you imagine a yellow car with none? it wouldn't look quite right.
anyways, it's stunning PMan. excellent job! are you doing lines around the front nose cone or leaving it as is?? not sure if it would look good or not...

The Kiwi-bot strikes again!!
Note to all noobs: P/Man isn't human he was an attempt by some robotic firm in N.Z to build an intelligent robot the experiment went totally wrong and they ended up with P/man, so as you can see all he does all day/night is build models with the odd break now and then for a drink of oil (or whatever the hell robots drink!!)
Joking aside Warren I'm getting bored of always putting great build, stunning paint job, wow you're so quick etc.
So all I can say is 'I'll agree with what the rest said!!'
:D :) :D :) :D :) :D :)

:D ..your a crack up dude !!!
Thanks for the replys so far.
As for the panel lines...you either like them or not. Im not going to change them as IMO they look good and they make the car stand out better. If you look at any car's (even white ones), have a real good look next time and study what you see about the panel lines...you will see that they are black:cool:
Im not saying its right or wrong, as this is what i like about this hobby, we all have our own views. If you dont want to do it this way, then you work on what you think is best and what works for you. :D
As for the next project, i'm be waiting to see if the SAS kit from Chris arrives in the next day or two. If not i'll probably start on the ENZO, but that's getting popular here too :p ....so really, what i'm saying is that i have no idea !!!

*Not happy about the rear tail lights....did'nt really get a perfect straight line.
*Couple of the trim lines not straight
*The rear windows are a pain to mask and get right...not quite right also.
*Still got a paint hole in the front bumper which sanded out but still not 100%

the front lights looks a bit to far back but I lilke the rest of it, I built this once but it looked horrible so I scraped the parts, the front bumper looks really good on my boxster. Do you insert the front lenses from the back or the front?

Extremely nice, although, some constructive criticism..
-Panel lines are too thick, IMO.
-You missed one, on the bottom where the hood connects between the headlights. ;)

Nice job, well done again. I like the panel lines but maybe you could try a thinner line. I use a millenium pen .005 and the panel lines turn out great. just a thought.:)

Jesus Pman, I can still remeber your thread 'Next model on the table'. Now the kit is already finished! You must build like how the 'Agents' from the film ' The Matrix' move.
Top job as usual anyway. What's next on your to-do list??

Keep playing!...;-)>
IMHO, those babies are too tall, too bling-bling, to dubb'ed and too much like one of those strange Japanese luxury cars...Why not a nice split 5 spoke rim in 18-19 scale inches?
I think my main problem is that with the spokes widening at the rim, it makes the whole rim look heavy and seems to drag the car's styling down as well...as does the rivets on the rim.
to me it needs something that would lighten the look, something like the Ferrari F-50/Enzo type wheels.
Of course these are just my idiotic opinions and whatever you choose will be great!
