Need advice on 2 products out there. Both of these products Tap in to 2 sensors that monitor Air/Fuel, they do not touch the OBDII Computer. The 2 brands are the JET V-Force and the Venom 400 . Any ideas on which one to get .The Jet V-Force is about $100 cheaper and does require a higher octane gas , partly because they advance timming a bit, as well this product states it works best with moderate add-ons like an intake, exhaust.. The Venom 400 runs $100 higher, but is made for the daily driver car with or without add-ons add-ons as we know help anyway, but their product gives a higher increase in Torque and horsepower I mean this in a percentage, And they do not require you to run a higher test gas. That does not matter anyway the cleaner (higher octane) gas you run the cleaner your engine is in referance to Injectors.. Let me know anyone who knows of either one of these products..

The link above is a topic that I started. Check it out and see if it helps you to decide on your purchase.:)

I have a Venom 400 in my 90 LX. I like the ability of turning it off when I want to.
The other chips are hard wired in.
You would have to replace the ECU when the time comes to SMOG Check them in Cali.
I'm still experimenting with my V 400. But it makes for an interesting ride when I do play.
And when my wife uses the car I turn it off.:D
