Cruise

Help? Tercel 1992 3ee engine manual with dealer option cruise control.

I figured out why my cruise control won't work anymore--the wire to the speed sensor broke loose.

My Chilton's says the speed sensor is integral to the speedo. I took the instrument cluster out and nothing there is labeled. There are 2 screws that look like electrical connections on the back of the speedo, and the printed circuit on the back of the instrument cluster has a connection from each of them to on of the slots for the electrical connector on the speedo side. Do I hook the speed sensor wire for the Cruise control to on of the screws in the speedo, or where do I hook it? I need to know, I may be selling this thing soon & I want everything working for maximum price leverage.

Thank you in advance for your input.
