Just bought a 96 318i, I am very pleased with it except for one problem. the other day I jumped in it for a trip up the shops and noticed that in the front passenger side foot well was literally puddles of water.

It had been sat in the road for a week and there was quite a lot of rain that week.

I have heard that is a common problem but am not aware what causes it. All the seals look ok.

Hope someone can help.
