That was F2002 that MS crashed :p

And two days later smashed DC's unoficial lap record. 1.25.2 around Barcelona is fast!!! But 1.15 dead is even faster :cool:

I fear F2003 is going to be uncatchable. Dont get me wrong im a Ferrari fan but i hope this season wont be as easy as 2002

With the new regulations in place and others to follow later in the season, it's very hard to do any predictions. Maybe McLaren approach this year - launching the new car during the season, might prove to be very good this year hence the fact that they have more time to develop the car to the new specs...

oops I've been following to many WRC lately :bloated: I've misread that, can you forgive me Alex?? :angel: ;)

We know from McLarens dominant 2002 winter campaign, how much times in winter testing are meaning. So Ferrari can beat any record during the off season :D

as for the rumors on the ferrari '03, expect a slighter larger engine , not like the 111degrees renault engine , but a bit more the 90 degrees, which might be very useful in the race...

I got word for ya, they'll still be looking at the back of the F2002 and the F2003, and DC still is a mid pack driver at best.:devil:

correct me if I am wrong......but Ferrari did not make a F2003 car. from what I have heard, it is just the F2002, but modified, which means it is still a F2002 car that they will be running. did I hear wrong?

You're wrong in that it IS a F2003 but you are right saying that it is just an update. That is how confident they are and there could lay their weakness for this year. We all now what over confidence does to people, right?

I disagree. DC is a very fast driver, he gets a lot of unfair stick and doesnt get praised for his good drives. And yes, there are a lot of those... has anyone else taken the battle to MS as much as DC? ok, maybe JPM, but otherwise DC's your man

As much as I dislike DC (and I dislike him a LOT!) he is, at this moment, a better driver overall than most, definitely JPM! But this is off topic, so if anyone feels like discussing DC - start a new thread.

DC was off course more than he was on in 2002, I think DC stands for de Cesaris(deCrasheris). There are at least four drivers who are better than he is, and eccentric Ron should have hired one of those.:)
