1500s
My gf saw this 4th gen hatch for sale and wrote down the info for me. Civic hatch 1500S, needs clutch, has parts. $500. I went and looked at it, it seems to be in "alright" condition. But I'm wondering, what is the 1500S?

Yes, 1500cc = 1.5L
So it's a D15 engine. Not sure about the "S" though...

The 1500S is an older body style. Not a 4G.

The 1500S is 84-85 a 1.5 carburated motor. 86-87 started the 1.6 Si(sport injection) fuel injected models. I owned one not too long ago. It was a really good reliable car. If you are buying for a winter car or a second car it is good for that. If you are looking for a car to hook up, not really a good choice.(my opinion) There are jdm motors for it, eibach makes springs, you can hook it up, it's up to you.
