Shuttle about 3 minutes after it left the atmosphere.

tight... just hope that the fuel cell.. booster things don't fall anywhere near!

They fall in the Atlantic, somewhere in the no fly zone.

BTW did you know when the shuttle was being launched or did you just happened to be out with your camera. Also how loud is it from that far?

I remember the '86 disaster too.

Yeah I was in fourth grade and I can still remember the shuttle Challenger blowing up into a huge Y smoke formation while playing in the playground on the f-in monkey bars, just a squirt.

I was a sophamore in HS, in history class... I jumped up and said there is something wrong and was pointing at the TV then... BOOM, the world stood still for the first time in a long time. I got laughed in the first few seconds... Then silence! Another one of my least favorite days...
