Well, the F-150 has zero votes, the Titan has got one, looks to me like "the winner by a long shot is the Nissan Titan"

I'll pick anything over the F-150.

Yeah, but that doesn't make it better.

nope, it isn't by a good amount, Ford counts the F-150, the fleet sales, the superduty and one of the SUV's based on the F-150 chassis in those sales. GM counts solely the silverado and sierra 1500 sales for hteir numbers, if they included avalanche and fleet sales alone they would be higher, let alone the envoy & trailblazers which are based on the same chassis, ford loves to mislead people.

And i'll give my vote to the Titan, hopefully its got a better chassis then the ford.

FYRHWK1 this is not true ford only counts the f150 sales and heavy duty they dont include the Expedition with that said the Expedition is the Best Selling Full Size SUV all though it is on the same chassis,Chevy sometimes includes the GMC Sierra on all of there sales when it is the same exact vehicle except for badging, but on any other note the F-150 has better quality thatn the vehicles and is better in all other categories the Titan wont even come close to the F-150 so the hands down winner is the F-150

yes, Ford DOES count one of their SUVs, i just cant remember which one, and they DO count fleet sales while the GM counterparts don't. and no, CHEVROLET does not count the sierra sales, GM as a whole does but thats because its the EXACT same truck with different badges, a superduty with a different chassis and a SUV with a new body and structure. if you counted the silverado 1500, sierra 1500, and just their fleet sales the 1500 truck would outsell the ford, if you counted the SUV's based off of those frames (which you shouldn't) then the gap would be even further.

and QUALITY? the ford automatic is piss poor copmared to GM's offering and the 6L walks all over the 5.4, interior wise . .. they're trucks, noone cares much about their interior.

Good point, Ford can't touch that Allison tranny. I am sorry but IMO Ford is in a distant last with quality, power, looks, and usefulness. Dodge and Chevy are the REAL workers trucks.

combined, the silverado/sierra line outsells the f-150 considerably. but since they're counted separately, it's a different story.

and being the best seller doesn't automatically imply it's a better car. for strictly a work truck and heavy duty work, i'd pick the f-150 over the nissan. sorry, but US still builds the best work trucks out there. but to live with on a daily basis, i dont' see why anyone would pick the f-150.

No the f150 is the best selling single vehicle in america. THat is not including anything but the f150, ur an idiot. I would take the tourqshift transmission all day long over the allison, and as far as quality goes f150's stomp GM products, thats why they sell more, they are better trucks. 5.4 has much more torqe than that 5.3 and as for the heavy duty with the 6 liter, it cost 45 loaded, what a rip, i could get a harley truck that would stomp it for 7 grand less, plus the new 5.4 is coming out and its no comparison. The only competition is the 5.7 hemi, buts its more of a horsepower motor, it doesnt make its torqe till 4400 rpms.

i dunno much about the F150 but from what i'm seeing, the titan looks pretty hot. its got a really nice interior for a truck, and is better then most car interior. its runs on the nissan 4.5 liter v8 which is also one of nissan's master pieces, but i cna't imagine anyone using that truck to do any heavy duty work, its too pretty to get dirty and so on.

Yep chevy out sales and out performs Ford. I raced my 99 Silverado Ext. Cab 5.3L, with just a Borla muffler against my buddies 01 F150 single cab with the 5.4L. For about the first 2 gears its pretty dead even, and then once i shift into 3rd i start walking away.

Thats basically what it is, they're both dead even down low and then the 1500 starts walking away up top, have your cake & eat it too i suppose.
