i was just wondering what most of ur guys opinions were on the gti vs the jetta and which one u like better. im having trouble deciding which i would like to invest into my next vehicle purchase within the next year. my friend owns a 2001 gti and another owns a 1999.5 jetta and they are both awsome rides but i was just wondering what most of u guys thought of this subject. thanks.

If you don't need 4 doors, GTI ownz joo. If you want 4, go with the Jetta, GLi.

If I had my own way, I would own both. The 4 door for when I want to go out with several friends in Style, and the 2 door for when I just want to go out alone and boogie! The GTI isn't much fun when you have extra large adults going in and out of......So it's preference otherwise... :smoka:

also, just so we're not confused, please use the term modded.

boosted means forced induction, like turbo or s/c.

the choice in the two cars depends on what you're going to use it for, and which model and which year we're talking about...

if you're talking a 1.8t or vr6 in both, it's a tossup...

or if you're talking gli, i'd go that route...
