no heat in 89 323

My g/f's 1989 323 hatch blows no heat! The engine warms up fine, but I can't get any heat out of the vents. I've changed the thermostat and done a coolant flush. The only thing I can think of is that the heater core is clogged. Any suggestions on this one??

Thanks,
Bryan

Before gon out to buy new hoses, heater cores or any other heater related parts, check to make sure that the hoses dont have any pinched spots or kinks. I changed the engine in my 86 323 SOHC to a 88 engine, and found the the smallest kink in the heater hose caused me to get no heat at all until an almost overheating temp.
