Discovered Tip
Hey everyone,
I haven't done any posting or anything for about the past 3-4 months becuase of the work load of school. But i finally sprayed my never ending CLK GTR. I posted a forum asking many people about what color i should spray it since im doing the street version and i didnt want the plain silver. So many people choose a carbon fiber look. Unfortunately my skill level isnt up there yet and I didnt want to mess up this kit, which took me a year on and off to do. So i decided to spray it with tamiya's gold. It went well and i just sprayed a clearcoat over it. I had to cuz the gold seemed real dull. But from doing this, I discovered when i think is the best time to spray an model. I have had many models messed up becuz of bad paint jobs due to dust. So this time i sprayed it the day after it rained. Using some common sense, I figured that there was hardly any dust in the air from the moisture b4. And it turned out to prove me right. I did think about the humidity factor since i kno u shouldn't spray ur model when humidity is high but it was dry outside and i took my chances with spraying it. And it turned out ot be one of my cleanest paint jobs. So..I just wanted to let u guys know..hehe and i'll have pics of my CLK in about a week....until then tty guys later.
Let me kno what u guys think...
