Exclamation Troble Code #9 no.1 cylinder position

I failed emissons and my computer kicks out a trouble #9 and I am trying to figure out what that means.

I think i can help

It could be one of two things. In your distributor there is a sensor that tells the computer what position its in. Then on the very front of the engine , it would be like looking at the engine from the passengers side, there is a sensor behind the timing cover on the right side of the engine. This one also tell the computer what position the engine is in. Hope this help. i see your post is an old one but i just joined today so if you fixed it already sorry
