if you can't answer with something that's worth reading, please don't.
check the bolt pattern. i think the offset is pretty different though.
it would be tough to get em under the wheel well.

Considering that it's labeled as a Ford most people would think he's an idiot.

Ford Probe wheels are 5 lug 5:114.3mm.
Mustang Cobra R's come as 4 x 4 1/4", and 5 x 4 1/2"
114.3mm / 25.4 = tada 4 1/2".
In other words, the bolt patterns are the same; however, the Probe is FWD so the hub the front wheel mounts onto will generally be a lot larger than a RWD car. That may require some boring on the wheel itself. I am not sure about your backspacing, you'd need to measure that yourself. The stock Probe wheel width on the GT is 7" I'm pretty sure. Remove your wheel, place it face down and put a flat object across the inside of the rim. Then take a tape measure and measure the distance from the back of the hub to the flat object. The distance will be your backspace. If your backspace is 4.5" or so, you're in good shape. If it's less than 4.5, I'd say the chances of you gettin them on is very slim. You may not be able to use them if they're too wide as well.
The 17x8 imitation Cobra R wheels would be your only chance if it's possible. They have a 4.95" backspace.

Actually, the Frobe may be a Ford. But where do you come up with a mazda? If anything it is a Mitsubishi. The GT's have Mistubishi engines in them. Or DSM.

You can put any wheel on your Probe that you would put on a eclipse, talon, 3000gt, or stealth. they are all 5 x 114.3

A quick little history lesson.
Ford thought about replacing the rear wheel drive Mustang with a front wheel drive Japanese designed car. One idea was to work with Mazda to create a similar platform that could be shared by both companies. The public quickly informed Ford that there was a demand for a rear wheel drive all American performance car. Ford quickly changed tack and gave their front wheel drive car the "Probe" badge. The probe was introduced in 89, and Mazda's version is know as the "MX6." That's also why Rangers are simuar to Mazda trucks. They all share platforms and many other parts.

The only thing Mitsubishi on a Probe is the distributor. The engine in all but the 1st gen. V6 are Mazda.
Ford owns Mazda.

Well except for that Viper guy, but then again, he thought the Probe engine was DSM...
Somewhat of a credibility killer huh?

Screw you stupid ass... until you can show me time slibs to prove your "STOCK" 89 turbo GT ran the 1/4 in 12.9. You are a fucking moron! Oh my car is stock but I have a 100 shot of Nitrous and boost controller. Yeah and your car weighed 2200 pounds to right?? Never would it.
