depending on your experience and resources for custom fabrication... i would say pretty damn hard. but... if u pull it off that would be fucking sick. i say go for it if u've got the motivation and time. post some pic's when ur done. im eager to see how this is gonna turn out

they're definately not the same size, you have to get the whole s15 front end, cut off your core support, weld on the s15 one, cut the s15 fenders and your own to those together, blah blah blah, lots of hard work. If you're serious I'll explain everything.

Alright, there's another way to do it if you don't wanna go through all of that cutting and welding. You cut out the shape of the headlights into the hood, fender, and bumper to make it fit. Then you have to find a way to make the headlight brackets bolt on. Then make sure that the rubber seal fits tightly around the area that you cut out, which will probably be the hardest part. If you don't do the cutting right then it'll look very sloppy and crappy and will be an easy target for thieves to open your hood and steal all your shit. If you cut out too much then you'll have to do some welding and then grinding to get it back down to the right shape. Personally I'd try doing the whole S15 front end which would look really cool. Then you'd have the headlights and the front bumper.
And about the taillights that you asked about, it's pretty much the same thing as cutting for the headlights. Cut out what you need, and weld in what you need to make them fit, then making them bolt in.
My shop just got done putting a 98 front end onto a 94 civic, and we've always found it easier just to put the whole front end on.

Dude, u know they make kits for that, dont you? I beleive extreme dimensions makes them for about $1700 for an s14 kit for civics and integras... much cheaper and easier than custom fitting cuz the kit is made to fit?

Dude, why are u making your Civ look like a Silvia? Why dont you sell your civic, and buy an 240sx? For the same price as making your Civic look like a Silvia, you could have a real 240sx (sports car unlike the Civic) and RWD! Dude, dont be poser. Dont do this conversion unless you have a good reason... and if you do... i would like to here it.

Peace holmes.

first of all u dont have to use the word dude before everything you say. And personnally i think a civic with s15 headlights is alot more original than just getting the 240 and makin it look like a silvia ,and custom fitting the silvia lights wouldnt even be close to payin 1700 for a kit. And having a civic with a turbo'd h22 i dont think is being a poser last time i checked so DUDE exactly what type oh car do you have just out of curiosity?

People don't do conversions to try and make their car look like another car because they want that car. People do conversions to make a car look different, to make a civic seperate itself from the other 432403240230 civics out there without getting a new car. It's not being a poser ya hoser, it's being different.

Peace holmes.

i personally dont think the silvia conversion would favor my tastes, BUT its your ride.

and i think conversions are tite in general. when a car rolls up and i mistake it for something else. then they tell me it's a civic, i go "how the hell did you do that?!"

and i agree with what kicker said, too many damn civics out there ;/

First off, a front end conversion is more extreme than a tail conversion. Second, compare a z31 and a civ:

Z31:
Sports car
RWD
3 Liter V6

Civic:
Family Car
FWD
1.8 Liter 4 banger

Ok, so lets assume that both cars are stock. If you were to put an entire s14 face on a stock civic, it would be RICE. If you did a simple tail light conversion to a z31, you would have the balls to back it up.

And the hydrolics idea was jus a thought. I jus wanted to know more about it and i was considering it.

Ok now i noticed that u said u had an H22. The H22 is one of my favorite engines ever (the sr20det is my favorite only b/c it is rwd and is very small) If the H22 were RWD, it would definately be my favorite engine b/c it produces more power than a turbo sr20!

In my post I said that you shouldnt do this conversion unless you have a good reason. Making your car look different than all the other civics out there is a damn good reason ONLY if you have the performance to back it up... and with an H22, you definately do.

Im sorry if yall took it the wrong way, but i did not mean to offend anyone. I love hondas and I am seriously considering an Integra. for some reason I was thinking that yo civics was all stock and yall was ricers (sry ive been in the nissan forums WAY too long) I know this post is long and does not make sense, but im sorry.

The conclusion of all this is: this is a nice conversion. if you want to do it, do it only if you have the performance to back it up. I was only saying that i would rather have a 240sx than a civic with a silvia face, because the 240sx would perform better and the conversion would be easier. But whatever, its jus a car, do what you want jus dont make it rice (you all know what rice is)

Peace.

Why do you have to have a fast car to go with a nice looking car? All cars don't have to be fast, there is no rule that says you have to make your car fast if you're going to make it nice looking. There's show, there's go, and there's show/go. There is nothing wrong with having a crazy conversion on a car and it being slower than crap. Not everybody is into speed, looks do more for some people. So why do you say that one must have the performance to back it up?

You are right. If you want a crazy looking car but is slow, do it. Those were jus my opinions. All im saying was that if it was me, i would only do that conversion if i had performance to back it up. I would also want performance so I am not thought of as a typical ricer (ricer=slow nice crazy looking car). But whatever you want to do, do it, jus keep in mind that some ppl wont like it. Its jus my opinion and i respect yours.
