Beyond Imagination 12-12-2002, 04:31 PM That car could have his headlight housing painted ... It might not be tinted but I can't see that clearly ... tynebeach 12-14-2002, 02:23 PM what most of the people do around here is buy R/C car tint spray, it comes in a little aerosol can and they also get the R/C clear coat. If you do it this way this mod. shouldn't cost more than 10 bucks. Oh yeah, and if you're looking for a place to pick some of this up almost all hobby shops carry it:) henry matyjewicz 01-29-2003, 10:57 AM Don't bother going to a tint shop they won't do it. SPEED DEMON sublimewls 01-30-2003, 12:51 AM yea like the people above said go to a hobby shop and the black transparent paint. I just did it to my tail lights... i think it looks sweet. sohc_vtec 2NR 02-05-2003, 09:49 PM isn't it illegal to "blackout" headlights? unless of course you got a different set just for show purposes tynebeach 02-06-2003, 07:35 AM I'm pretty sure it depends on where you live. At least in Michigan it's legal as long as at night when you have them on they project enough light out of them and at a far enough distance. moondawgy 02-10-2003, 03:47 PM just smoke them enought so it's darker, but not black. the light would just look turned down a notch smoked corners with amber bulb on EG looks really nice tynebeach 02-11-2003, 07:45 AM can people have clear corners that still flash the stock orange light by just using an orange bulb in it? I was just trying to think of ways to keep it looking nice but not get pulled over. moondawgy 02-11-2003, 09:24 AM yeah, i have clear corners with amber bulb but getting amber vision looks much cleaner looking than clear corners tynebeach 02-13-2003, 07:45 AM what's amber vision? moondawgy 02-13-2003, 08:10 AM amber vision are corners that are amber colour tynebeach 02-15-2003, 08:41 PM So if I were to get clear corners and then put the yellow lights in them do they still look stock in the daytime or do they still look pretty much white? moondawgy 02-17-2003, 11:19 AM So if I were to get clear corners and then put the yellow lights in them do they still look stock in the daytime or do they still look pretty much white? it'll look like this tynebeach 02-17-2003, 03:30 PM oh that's not bad, thanks alot for the pic it helped alot. Nice headlights also, they look sweet. moondawgy 02-17-2003, 09:12 PM thanks, they're not bad, but i want amber vision.........looks much nicer........even thought these dont look bad when lit up at night emerge 02-18-2003, 08:14 PM they make that spray on tint stuff. i think there's also some kind of tint tape. i'm not sure exactly how it works. maybe you could get a tinting company to tint your headlights? i'm not sure if they have the equipment to do that but its worth a shot. are you sure the headlights didn't come like that?
