Question keep f150 or get a used truck?

hi all, My dad has given me a choice for my first vehicle to either keep his 98 ford f150 Lariat or go to a local dealership and get a used truck for about 6 or 7k limit. I like the f150 i just think its kinda big and i really want something small but i dont think i can get anything decent for 6 or 7k
any suggestions?

Are you only into trucks or is it pretty much open to anything?

Why does Sea World have a seafood restaurant? I'm halfway through my fishburger and I realize, Oh my God....I could be eating a slow learner

If you are happy with the milage, ride, and performance of the F150, why trade it? A vehicle that matches closely to the F150 is the Crown Vic. Full frame, same motor and tranny, rear end, tow ratings, etc. You can probably find a 1996/1997 for $7000 USD about now.

I would definately get rid of that POS Ford. You are probably less likely to die in anything other than a for truck. You are getting ripped off either way, unless you go out and get something like a Toyota truck

MMM, steering wheel tastes soo good

For the full report

LiuBei,

now i understand why you are hating on fords. you are a ricer!!:finger: well, i do not understand why we can not live in peace. i am just kidding about the finger thing... but seriously. there is no reason to hate on american cars just because we have tourque available under 5k rpms.

i say stick with the ford if you like trucks. because out of the trucks on the market, they probably take to mods the best. just my .02

A
