alarm problems with unlocking doors

just in the past two days my door locks have been acting up. I have a viper 690 (or something like that, its the responder model) on my 97 honda. This is the problem i have, I push the unlock button on the key fob and the siren on the car chirps twice to notify me that the alarm is unarmed, usually it unlocks the doors as well. I hear the door locks unlock, but then they automatically lock again, even the the system is disarmed. I tried to unlock the door manually and they lock right away again. I don't know what is up as this is the first time it has happened since i had the alarm installed. It happens on both the drive and passenger side door (its a 2 door). Any suggestions???

on a side note, the alarm has given me nothing but trouble and I'm severely disgusted with the shop where i bought it and had it installed.
