Unhappy Clutch issues..

I finally finished overhauling my 89 xt6 and now im faced with a problem. the last time i replaced the clutch i had to pump the clutch a lot to get everything settled in place. i just tried to do the same thing now and the results are anything but what i want. it seems it doesnt want to settle in. ??? has anybody ever had this kind of problem before? I can engage it in gear and it has no problems there. there is more play in the clutch pedal then there was before. Once i get it in gear it doesnt want to seem to move right. Even giving it plenty of gas it still dies almost the moment that i let go of the clutch pedal.

If anybody has any input or ideas i'll gladly try them

Re: Clutch issues..

It seems that after taking a second look at things i adjusted the clutch cable the wrong direction. In doing so it locked up the hill brakes tighter than tight.

got the problems resolved. Just a couple more fine tunes and it'll be ready to be broken in for racing.
