2 broken wires

recently i had a problem with my crank pulley goin bad and threw the belts off. the belts ripped the 2 wires off bottom of thermostat housing. one i believe is the temp sending unit and the other i have no idea but its the 1 right on bottom and is a plastic connector. problem is i dont know which wire goes where. 1 wire is light green with a red stripe and the other is black with an orange strip. car is an 88t that used 2 be auto so i think it still has auto wiring harness. so if anyone knows the answer that would be awesome. by the way i installed an underdrive crank pully and it rocks. car sounds so much better and no problems so far. pully was an obx one. i highly suggest that mod. thanks for help
