i,m looking to buy a 2001 SC1 with 29,000 miles,original owner. it is automatic. i know it is slow ,but it can,t be much slower than my current 1999 escort sedan. price = about $4900.

I dunno if I'd pay 4900 for it, though that is very low mileage. I probably wouldn't offer anymore than 4000. Saturns aren't exactly valuable cars

got a 2002 SL1 for 3k. tho that '01 has low milage....as in that its a babyyyy. treated right with proper maintanence, and she should run wellllll over 300k easy. check for idleing issues and make sure the oil has been changed regularly :) also check for reverse slam as that is a common problem with the s-series automatics :) tho not to much with the third gen like that one
