94 anniversary TA for sale with only 7k miles for 4,200!!!!

Guy is in italy, wants to unload the car because of registration problems and costs associated with registering a US car in Italy. Says he wants to use this company.....

I ran the VIN, everything comes up clean. I asked for a pic of the title and he sent me this....

Does anyone know if this is a legit georgia document?

My gut tells me there is something very wrong here, but so far everything is comming up clean and he is providing me with all the info i ask for.

Has anyone ever heard of this shipping company?

If the company is legit....can i really lose if they gaurantee the transaction?

That is probably one of the most fake websites I've seen. Try going to the Contact Us page... you don't have to fill out any information, and the submit button still works. Most forms will stop you and tell you a certain field is required for submission. I reconize the navigation menu at the top, it is one from a layout I saw on www.freelayouts.com (http://www.freelayouts.com)

They used www.totalsitebuilder.com (http://www.totalsitebuilder.com), which is why the page looks like an amateur threw it together. If it was my company and a real company, I would have hired a professional web designer to design me a page. Not make one that costs $9 a month.

Don't trust it man, it sure as heck doesn't look real to me.

1. The buyer and seller agree to use the BAS Inter, Inc. transfer service for title transfer.
2. The buyer sends the deposit for sale by Bank to Bank wire transfer to BAS Inter, Inc

So they get the title, and they require a wire transfer. There is almost no company in the world that requires a wire transfer. It's just another scam man.

Also, how'd you find this guy? Craigslist?

Also, they used to have another site identical to that one called "CBS Inter, Inc." which stood for Cars Best Shippers. The old website: www.cbsinter.com. Why the insignificant name change? Or did they just later realize that there was already one major CBS here in the US. You can still see a rough layout of the site if you search for it in google, and click "Cached" under the link.

I wouldn't buy car internationally, but a foreign dignatary can sure use my personal bank account to funnel $4M into the country. :lol:
