The picture in the first link (part#7799544) is for the earlier trucks with the analog speedometer. It went into the trans tail housing/transfer case and the speedometer cable attached to it. If the truck had antilock brakes , some of the earlier trucks actually had two sensors, one on the trans and one on the rear differential for the abs. Later trucks have a different control module in the computer that uses the signal from the differential mounted sensor to control all functions(abs , psom, trans shift points, ....ect) . Your truck should only have one mounted on the rear diff, the one pictured in the second link(part#7799582).
