98 Alternator specs?

Just wanted to know what the stock amperage is on a 98 Passport alternator becuase I need to buy a new one becuase the bearings going bad? Thanks in advance!

should be 70 or 90 amp depending on the manufacturer date. you can check using the isuzu online parts site www.myisuzuparts.com

but any seller is going to have applications data and specs.

just be aware not to buy a cheapo rebuild from the bigboxpartsstores. they almost univerisally don't last.

get a quality remanufactured unit from the dealer or from an independent parts store, my favorite are units remanuf by bosch. quality at a good (not cheap) price.

i put in a new/reman bosch 90 and ill never look back!

Thanks for the help once again. I just looked on the sticker placard and it came off the line in April so it's a 90 amp. Now I just gotta order one and a pinion seal for the rear end..... Also from the looks of it I am assuming the alternator isn't to much of a problem to get out or is it? If so any tips.
