The next phase: Vehicle Information Centerjaz1314 10-30-2007, 06:28 PM Well this "new" 94 Jeep is keeping me busy and out of trouble  Finished rebuilding the 249, it worked well :iceslolan So on to the new problem. :runaround: The Vehicle Info center started acting quirky, like it lost power. Clock was back to default. Seems like a bad connection but wondering if anyone else experienced this. dksob81 10-31-2007, 07:06 AM Was it flashing the time like everything got reset (like the battery was disconnected)? If so, I would assume this is somewhat normal...lol My 94 did this all the time, well about once a month, You will be driving down the road and the VIC would reset. jaz1314 10-31-2007, 12:50 PM Was it flashing the time like everything got reset (like the battery was disconnected)? Yep, acted like the power was lost. Im going to pull it out and see if I cant put some die electric grease in the connector. Will let you know. jaz1314 11-01-2007, 05:33 PM Yep, acted like the power was lost. Im going to pull it out and see if I cant put some die electric grease in the connector. Will let you know. Well that didnt do it. Seemed like it at first, in fact lasted a whole day! I am now suspecting the VIC itself. Going to have to go to the boneyard and get "Franky" a new used one. :iceslolan Automotive Network, Inc., Copyright ©2012
