I am brand new to this forum and need some advice. This has been an expensive year to own my 95 GC. She has a new gas pump, a new transmission and a new battery. She uses/leaks some oil, needs a new window regulator/motor LR, after driving for approx 15 to 20 minutes and I come to a complete stop such as a traffic light she makes a strange creeking sound that stops once I begin traveling again and she has 157,00 miles. I felt it is about time to let her go but I have had her since 99 and have truly enjoyed driving her. By no means am I a mechanic and to get her into shape would require a good one. I will have to make a decission in the next few months to restore her for continued use or use my money for a down payment on a new/used vehicle. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

I understand the reluctance to part with your Jeep - that's why we're here, we like them. But if you're on a budged and can't do the repairs and maintenance yourself, I would recommend buying a low mileage import, Honda, Toyota etc. It will save you a lot of financial grief now and in the future.
12 year old Jeeps with 150,000 k miles on them need a lot of attention.
