Hello im trying to figure out why when i changed the starter on both of my 1988 325 and 325ix models with 2.7 litre engines i lost electrical power to the windows ,power roof and heater blower. all wires are hooked up and i checked the fusible links now power getting to fuse panel . Both starters are identical. Im just confused on why a simple starter change would cause this on two vehicles. Is there a resistor on the starter?? any help appreciated:banghead:
